What metals are available for bending and forming?
In theory, we can bend and form any type of metal including aluminum, steel, stainless steel, pure copper, and premium brass. At the Men of Metal headquarters we have heavy duty press break machines for forming various types of metal. With a library of custom tools our forming capabilities are vast and highly effective. Certain thickness of metal requires different tonnage and CNC settings, however its nothing we cant handle.
What thicknesses and sizes can be handled?
The CNC press brake bends up to ¼-inch steel at 8 feet in length, while the manual brake bends up to ⅛-inch steel. If your project lands outside of this threshold we can review your specific needs and see if its something we can handle. If you are seeking advice on bending or forming simply contact Men of Metal.
Is there a minimum order requirement?
No. There is no minimum order requirement to work with Men of Metal. If you need one piece bent or a thousand the Men of Metal will take care of you. We do offer more cost effective pricing with increased qualities. If you are needing a large production run contact us for pricing economies of scale.
What details are needed to provide a quote?
Material type, thickness, dimensions, and bend requirements are preferred. CAD or DXF files, drawings, or sketches with clear measurements make the process smoother. If you are needing advice or guidance simply call us at the number below to speak with a metal professional.
What is the typical turnaround time for bending and forming work?
Fabrication timing depends entirely on project size, quantity of pieces and complexity of bends. For smaller projects, turnaround is as quick as 1-3 days. For quantity based orders and larger volume lead time will be given with your quote. We do offer priority fabrication options depending on our current workload and availability of materials.
